The only French round of the World Championship, this global event will see the participation of around a hundred drivers from all over Europe, the United States, Canada, Japan and Australia from May 30 to June 1, 2025.

For this round of the World Championship, which will take place on the majestic site of the tourist resort of Calvi from May 30 to June 1, 2025, Antoine Allegrini, president of the Trial Moto Club de Balagne, organizer of this global event, surrounded by his entire team, has entrusted the course layout to a specialist, Jordi Pascuet, a renowned professional rider who already has a very long list of sporting achievements and a lot of experience in the world of two wheels.

His challenge will be to propose a layout of the accessible areas for all the categories involved while preserving the environment, a fundamental principle in motorcycle trials. A route that will remain confidential until the day before the competition. We do know that the closed park will be installed on the Ortacce central reservation, opposite the SuperU. It is indeed the world elite, the cream of motorcycle trials who are expected in Calvi with a hundred riders from all over Europe, the United States, Canada, Japan and Australia.

In addition to the sporting aspect, this major event with spectacular images that will travel around the world, will offer a great showcase for Corsica and Balagne, an exceptional opportunity for the region with significant economic benefits.

For the municipality of Calvi, the choice of the “FIM Trial World Championships & Prizes” is a strong symbol which reinforces the city’s commitment to sporting events.

This event (with a budget of around €400,000) and the arrival of world-class athletes will also contribute, as in 2014, to a tremendous enthusiasm for this discipline on the island which has a real playground.

Remember that the king of the discipline, the Spaniard Tony Bou (Honda team) with his 18 world champion titles will be part of this exceptional adventure.

The municipality of Calvi with its mayor Ange Santini, who has chosen to organize major sporting events before the season such as the Ladies Open Calvi - Eaux de Zilia, International Tennis Open or after the season, with in October the Tour de Corse automobile historique for the next 3 years as the departure and arrival city, did not hesitate to give the green light to host this World Championship.

Undeniably, this unique French round of this world championship arouses real enthusiasm among motor sports fans and especially motorbike fans.
